Job Description:
MN Special Education Teacher – MN Teaching License required with a
desired emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education. The teacher will work with Pre-K students in a preschool setting and manage a caseload.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience with behavior intervention and management strategies.
2. Experience with social skills instruction and interventions.
3. Experience with play-based learning.
4. Knowledgeable in multi-tiered systems of support.
5. Ability to organize and carry out individualized programs for children.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with a team to collect and analyze data.
7. Ability to communicate with parents and colleagues.
8. Ability to train and guide paraprofessionals.
Approved Long Term Substitute teachers are paid off of the base salary in the Teacher master agreement at the start of their assignment.
