At Jefferson Elementary, we cater to students in grades 1-4 with a focus on small group instruction, a responsive classroom environment, and enriching STEM opportunities, all aligned with a robust core curriculum. Our middle school program for grades 5-8 emphasizes advisory, exploratory, and hands-on learning experiences. For high school students in grades 9-12, we offer an extensive range of college, vocational, and work-ready courses to prepare them for future success. Additionally, students have access to numerous fine arts and athletic programs. Our Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides invaluable opportunities in fields such as automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction, and cabinetry.
 
AVAILABLE POSITION – SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM CAFETERIA SUPERVISOR
 
Location – Jefferson Elementary, 318 S Payne Street, New Ulm, MN 56073
 
Summer Food Program:

  • Monday - Thursday
  • June 15 - July 30, 2026 (no meal service June 29 - July 2)
  • Dining time is 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
 Job Summary:
  • Work Monday - Thursday; 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Supervise students age 18 and younger
  • Keep accurate program logs
  • Clear and clean tables
  • Trash removal
 Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to supervise students of various ages and effectively lead them to positive and respectful behaviors
  • Communication, time management, organization, and ability to collaborate with others are also considered desirable qualifications
Start Date – June 15, 2026
 
Compensation Package – This position offers an hourly wage of $17.75 - $21.99. No benefits package is offered with this position.
