Come downtown on Friday!

A mobile greenspace is coming to New Ulm! Imagine an entire downtown block with green turf, picnic tables, live music, bean bags and more. We plan to pilot this turf the first weekend of Oktoberfest! The grass will be put down Friday morning on October 3rd, on Minnesota Street from 1^st North to Center Street, and stay there until Sunday morning. We invite you to come down after 1pm on Friday and enjoy this space! Bring the kids! Bring your dog (though please clean up after)! Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, if you wish! Listen to live music, enjoy a beverage, snack or meal, and connect with friends, neighbors, and visitors!

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at select local bars and restaurants (details to come) can be brought out into the street (no glass and must stay within the closed street area). Grab lunch or dinner or ice cream at a nearby business and enjoy it on the grass.
