The City of New Ulm is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for the Building Safety Department. Duties include custodial work, minor building repairs, upkeep of mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, and irrigation), preventative maintenance, and maintaining both interior and exterior areas of public facilities. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of combined custodial and building/facility maintenance experience is required. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems is also required. Pay range is $24.35 – $31.27 per hour, depending on qualifications.
