Supported by a team of staff, board members, and volunteers, you’ll be part of a collective effort to make a meaningful impact.
 
The Business Services Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, managing administrative functions, and supporting the Chamber’s members and programs. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this position is integral to the success of the organization.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
General Operations & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, committees, board members, and community stakeholders.
  • Serve as a professional liaison between committees, Chamber members, and the Board of Directors.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and respond promptly to member requests.
Administrative & Business Services
  • Perform accounting functions, including invoicing and bookkeeping, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage the Chamber’s membership database (ChamberMaster), ensuring up-to-date member information and providing training and support as needed.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new members and provide consistent, detail-oriented member support.
  • Rental management (2nd floor of Chamber building).
Event Coordination & Community Outreach
  • Assist with planning and executing events that foster community engagement and support Chamber objectives.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Take on other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the President/CEO.
 
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience in office management, bookkeeping, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and web-based tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Canva, WordPress).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A self-starter with a positive, professional attitude and the ability to handle interruptions and adapt to shifting priorities.
Work Schedule & Compensation
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional nights and weekends for events.
  • Paid Time Off: Two weeks PTO upon hire, plus nine paid holidays.
  • Retirement: 3% matching contribution.
  • Compensation: Full-time, hourly position.
