Youth Focused First Aid Training
Instructor: Jeff Allerson
Description: This class will help anyone develop the basic skills necessary to manage a first aid situation. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers and first aid actions needed for common medical and environmental emergencies. A few examples of the skills learned include caring for choking, minor cuts and bruises, broken bones and sprains, sun burn, heat/cold related emergencies, allergic reactions, animal bites and stings. The class will also discuss how and when to make a 911 call.
