A special education teacher at River Bend Education District in New Ulm is organizing a unique art installation and learning experience for the students at their school. The project is a local and international call for knitters and crocheters to send gauge swatches, granny squares, and doilies to their school. Students will sew them together and tie or sew them to outdoor structures. The result is a beautiful form of street art using yarn.
Send your gauge swatches or granny squares to the school for an outdoor art installation.
