Trip Details: We will meet in the entryway of The Grand at 12:50pm for our 1pm tour. Parking is along Minnesota Street. This program is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required so we know how many will be attending. Register by calling 507-354-3212 (leave a message with your name and phone number). Join us as we visit the Grand and Laurie’s LJ Fox Art Studio. Laurie is a self-taught watercolor artist and lives here in New Ulm. She says she paints “Sometimes flowers, sometimes landscapes, sometimes just some wild stuff! Enjoy!” All profits are donated to either the NUMAS Haus or the Ivy House New Ulm. Hosted by the CAST Senior Center, CAST Educational Programs were developed to reach a wide audience of senior citizens, providing a variety of interesting subjects via in-person presentations and experiences. Scheduled year-round, we host programs at the CAST Senior Center, but also travel to area libraries, museums, places of interest, and other Senior/Community Centers in our area to introduce Seniors to the many program opportunities that are available. Our programs are open to the public and there are no membership dues. Unless noted, the programs are provided free and no preregistration is required. Carpooling is available for out-of-town trips.
