Spiders: Friend or Foe?
DNR Naturalist Scott Kudelka will present “Spiders: Friend or Foe?” on Tuesday, January 7 at 6:30 p.m. at New Ulm Public Library. Many people find spiders scary or creepy. Usually because of spiders’ eight legs, big eyes and how easily they adapted to being in your house. Spiders play an important role in the environment – mainly to prevent the world from becoming overcrowded with insects. There are many different types of spiders and surprisingly not all make webs to catch their prey. Kudelka will talk about some of the different spiders found in Minnesota and their amazing characteristics! This free program is geared toward adults, but all ages are welcome.
