Shop Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event, but locally promoted by each community, and meant to encourage local customers to shop small, shop local. In addition to promoting small businesses, this event is also an opportunity for businesses to offer the same support to their customers by expressing gratitude and thanks for their loyalty and patronage for shopping local.

This year is no different! Be on the lookout for the Shop Small Saturday insert in the New Ulm Journal. Cash grab handouts by the Grinch will also be taking place all around town. This is New Ulm's 5th year celebrating the strength of small locally owned businesses so help them stay open by buying local.
