Shadow Puppetry: Paper Mechanisms & Transformation
Immerse yourself in the world of shadow puppetry! This class will introduce the basics of paper mechanisms used in creating movement in shadow puppets. While students make their own shadow puppet creation, the instructor will discuss materials, tools, storytelling, and performance techniques. No experience required. Instructor: Faith Belt Cost: $15 (discounted rate for Artist-in-Residence community project!)
