Preserving Your Digital Memories: Some Basics
New Ulm Public Library will present Preserving Your Digital Memories: Some Basics on Thursday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. Learn best practices for computer file naming as well as information about backing up data and saving photos that have been posted on Facebook. This is a hands-on session, and attendees may bring their laptop computers or use laptops provided by Mankato Area Adult Basic Education; they must provide their own flash drive to save information. In addition, attendees who have a Facebook account should bring their log-in and password documentation. This free class is part of the library’s Memory Lab Network project made possible by the Washington, DC Public Library and the Public Library Association and in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services [LG-95-17-0079-17].
