Join us for a tribute & celebration of the songwriting and musical talents of Paul Simon and James Taylor. Mark Braun and grandson Kaleb Braun Schulz have studied, rehearsed, and collaborated on the music and history of these two great performers. Braun is a guitarist and vocalist who has performed and recorded as a solo act and vocalist who also writes, records, and performs as a solo act. Braun-Schulz also performs with many other bands, including his own famed “Nightingale Band.” They are also joined by the highly talented lead guitarist and vocalist, Forrest Kunkel and by the wonderful violinist and vocalist, Crista Bohlmann. Both Kunkel and Bohlmann perform individually and with a variety of southern Minnesota musicians. Collectively this group will entertain with the memorable tunes of Simon and Taylor and add color to this tribute by injecting history and stories of how and why these songs were written. This celebration of music is sure to please music lovers of all ages.
