Kiesling House Open
When you are in the New Ulm area, include a visit to the Historic Kiesling House for a unique glimpse into the past. This historic gem is located downtown New Ulm. Explore the Historic Kiesling House constructed in 1861; it survived the US – Dakota War of 1862. Participate in a wide variety of experiences scheduled at various times throughout the season. Learn about early pioneer settlement, customs, and traditions of area immigrants. Discover and reexamine events, like the US-Dakota War of 1862, that shaped New Ulm. Examine the development of community and influence of social and political issues on area residents.
