Holiday Open House at Brown County Historical Society
In conjunction with the New Ulm Parade of Lights, the Brown County Historical Society is hosting a holiday open house on Friday, November 29, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at its museum at 2 North Broadway, New Ulm. Admission is free. Enjoy live music and holiday treats from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The museum will feature the special holiday favorite “The Menzel Village Display”. Enjoy holiday treats like cider, cookies, and music while you warm up and enjoy the display. While you escape the winter chill, tour the award-winning exhibit, “Never Shall I Forget: Brown County and the U. S.-Dakota War”. Or, take this opportunity to (preview/view) the Education Pod; and the exhibits including: “Art and Artists of Brown County: The Gag Family”, “A History of Brown County’s “Hair- itage”, and “Wet Stills and Dry Agents: Brown County and the Prohibition Years”.
