Vocologist, professional performer, voice coach, and author Nancy Bos will present “Finding Your Voice” at New Ulm Public Library on Monday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. Singing and speaking can be creative opportunities for expression, but at the same time expose us to great vulnerability. In this one-hour session Bos will explore the relationship of our emotions and health to our physical voice for speaking and singing. Understanding the connection of the voice to the body and emotions can be the key to communicating a story or message in the best way possible. Bos has written five books on singing, including the best-selling Singing 101: Vocal Basics and Fundamental Singing Skills for All Styles and Abilities. Bos will also present “Singing through Change: Serving Women in Midlife and Beyond” to CASTLE members at the New Ulm Community Center at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 24.
