Family History Month: Personal Digital Archiving and Writing Your Family History
On Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Molly Schweinfurter of Mojo Genealogy will lead a workshop on personal digital archiving and writing your family history. Schweinfurter will discuss several different ways to approach writing a family history, as well as review publishing options like self-printing or finding a publisher. She'll also teach basic steps for preserving important digital files. Registration is required for this free program. Call 507-359-8331 for more information and to register. This class is part of a series of workshops being held to celebrate Family History Month, which is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
