Join Sarah Sveine, Program Coordinator for the Brown County Historical Society, for “The Disasters of Brown County”, a fascinating look at the disasters that have shaped Brown County’s history. From devastating blizzards and historic floods to raging fires, tornadoes, and even a surprising earthquake, this presentation delves into the natural and man-made catastrophes that have tested the resilience of Brown County’s people. Join us for this great learning opportunity! Program provided by the Brown County Historical Society. Hosted by the CAST Senior Center, CAST Educational Programs were developed to reach a wide audience of senior citizens, providing a variety of interesting subjects via in-person presentations and experiences. Scheduled year-round, we host programs at the CAST Senior Center, but also travel to area libraries, museums, places of interest, and other Senior/Community Centers in our area to introduce Seniors to the many program opportunities that are available. Our programs are open to the public and there are no membership dues. Unless noted, the programs are provided free and no preregistration is required. Carpooling is available for out-of-town trips. Check out our program schedule every month and join us for our next event. We look forward to seeing you!
