Get ready for an unforgettable shopping experience and a weekend of fun at New Ulm Crazy Days! From July 24th to July 26th, immerse yourself in the excitement of this annual event, featuring incredible deals from our beloved local businesses.

During Crazy Days, the streets of New Ulm will come alive with a vibrant atmosphere as businesses have sidewalk sales and open their doors to offer exclusive discounts and promotions. Whether you're searching for stylish clothing, unique gifts, home decor, or delicious treats, you'll find it all and more during this special event.  (Participating sales/specials will vary by retailer / opening times will vary - see individual stores for hours). Downtown shops are encouraged to have sidewalk sales but remember that retailers ALL OVER town will have sales and discounts, Friday through Sunday. Check with your favorite store to see what they are planning!


Growing Forward - Mobile Green Space - Fri 4 pm - Saturday 11pm
Experience the vibrant transformation of Downtown New Ulm as it comes alive as a dynamic mobile green space! Everyone is invited to enjoy live music, savor food from local restaurants and food trucks, and engage in activities scheduled throughout the day. Join us for some community fun and entertainment! Ping Pong Ball Drop - Saturday, 9am
Saturday, July 25th is the famous Ping Pong Ball Drop @ 9:00 a.m.!  Ping Pong Balls (with labeled discounts + chance to win Chamber $) will be dropped from the rooftop of Lola's in Downtown New Ulm - 40 ping pong balls will have $5 Chamber Dollar, and 2 lucky winners will grab a ping pong ball worth $50 Chamber Dollars!!

Marktstrasse - Saturday, 9am-2pm
Enjoy the Marktstrasse - local handcrafted vendors will be setting up on Minnesota Street (from 3rd N to 1st N) from 9am - 2pm on Saturday.  This portion of New Ulm Crazy Days is organized by Maker Fair Minnesota, and we're beyond thrilled with this collaboration! Maker Fair has a higher standard when choosing who they allow to be vendors at their events. They make sure there is a variety of products available from sellers (no overabundance of one category) and every vendor ONLY sells handcrafted items - no third-party goods! Marktstrasse will take place downtown on Saturday, July 25th from 9am-2pm. Marktstrasse (Market Street) is so named after a Crazy Days staple from years ago. Farmers Market - Saturday, 9am-12pm
Join us for our second Farm-to-Fun day of the 2025 Farmers Market Season. Fresh local produce, handcrafted items, treats and fun for the whole family! Location TBD - See Here for Details
