During Crazy Days, the streets of New Ulm will come alive with a vibrant atmosphere as businesses have sidewalk sales and open their doors to offer exclusive discounts and promotions. Whether you're searching for stylish clothing, unique gifts, home decor, or delicious treats, you'll find it all and more during this special event.  (Participating sales/specials will vary by retailer / opening times will vary - see individual stores for hours). Downtown shops are encouraged to have sidewalk sales but remember that retailers ALL OVER town will have sales and discounts, Friday through Sunday. Check with your favorite store to see what they are planning!

Business Insert Opportunity - Sign Up Due June 30th

The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting businesses throughout the community to participate in a special Crazy Days Advertising Flyer. 5,000 copies of this flyer will be printed and distributed throughout town as well as inserted into The New Ulm Journal leading up to Crazy Days & Downtown Polka Palooza Weekend, July 24-25.

This flyer is designed to showcase all the great businesses offering great deals, specials, promotions, and events happening throughout New Ulm, encouraging shoppers and visitors to explore everything our community has to offer, not just downtown!

Participation is just $25 for Chamber Members and $50 for Non-Members. In addition to your business being included in the flyer, your registration includes up to 50 ping pong balls that you may customize with a special offer, discount, prize, or promotion. Additional balls are available at cost. These ping pong balls will be dropped from the Gallery 512 building during the annual Ping Pong Ball Drop at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, creating another fun opportunity to drive customers to your business.

Downtown Polka Palooza
Join us for the second Downtown Polka Palooza - a lively celebration of music, dancing, and community. Enjoy live bands on Friday & Saturday. Timing TBA.

Growing Forward - Mobile Green Space - Fri 4 pm - Saturday 11pm
Experience the vibrant transformation of Downtown New Ulm as it comes alive as a dynamic mobile green space! Everyone is invited to enjoy live music, savor food from local restaurants and food trucks, and engage in activities scheduled throughout the day. Join us for some community fun and entertainment! Ping Pong Ball Drop - Saturday, 9am
Saturday, July 25th is the famous Ping Pong Ball Drop @ 9:00 a.m.!  Ping Pong Balls (with labeled discounts + chance to win Chamber $) will be dropped from Gallery 512 in Downtown New Ulm - 40 ping pong balls will have $5 Chamber Dollar, and 2 lucky winners will grab a ping pong ball worth $50 Chamber Dollars!!
