Checklist: What to do when faced with a death
If you or your parents have not done end-of-life planning, this class is for you. At death there are LOTS of complicated tasks and critical financial decisions to be completed, some of which include: • Making final arrangements • Reviewing funeral costs and funding options • Settling an individuals estate and heirlooms • Notifying family, friends and co-workers • Working with various companies and government agencies • Providing important vital statistics for insurance claims and death certificates • Securing the financial security of the reaming spouse Death is never easy. As someone who lost parents in their 90’s I know it is hard to lose a loved one at any age. Death of a loved one is the most difficult experience we will face.
