The seventh of ten courses in the 2021 Fall Term of CASTLE Lifelong Learning, a program of the CAST Senior Center. Join us in a conversation about autism, a neurodevelopment disorder that causes a wide range of impairments in social communication and restricted and repetitive behaviors. Our presenters will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including definition, prevalence, interventions and tips on managing the condition. Prevalent world-wide, Autism Spectrum Disorder is a lifelong disability that requires a lifetime plan. Presented by Vicki Pieser and Yvonne Weber Enrollment in the CASTLE Lifelong Learning program is $100 for one year, which covers a minimum of 18 different courses over Fall, Winter and Spring Terms. Courses include art, entertainment, health/wellness, history, literature, local interests, music, science, and more. Attendance of all courses is not required.
