Bits and Bites of History: Snapshots of New Ulm
The Brown County Historical Society invites the public to a special evening program on Thursday, February 9th. The BCHS teams with 3 MLC students as they present “Bits and Bites of History: Snapshots of New Ulm.” The presentation will be held at 7:00pm – 8:00pm at the Brown County Museum Annex. Noah Worster will present on the St. Alexander Hospital and the response to the 1881 tornado. Emma Elzen will discuss the founding of Dr. Martin Luther College. Joel Holz’s topic will be the building of the New Ulm Armory on Broadway. The MLC students developed their presentation in Professor Peter Baganz’s history course while working with BCHS research library files.
