Bernd Hillmann Art Reception

Bernd Hillmann is an accomplished painter, with a focus on landscapes. His paintings are inspired by nature undestroyed by human hands. Hillmann holds a Master’s Degree in Art from the University of Bremen with majors in painting, sculpture and commercial art. He obtained a Teacher of Arts diploma from the University of Oldenburg in 1967, and later taught the arts at Warstade College near Hamburg, Germany. Hillmann has been living in Minnesota for 30 years. This is his second show in 4 Pillars Gallery. He also teaches adult painting classes at The Grand throughout the year.
