About Us

New Ulm Area Catholic Schools (NUACS) is an accredited school system for students in grades K-12 located on one campus in New Ulm.

St. Anthony Elementary serves students in grades K-6, and Cathedral High School serves students in grades 7-12.

Students at NUACS are given many opportunities to succeed academically including the offering of college credit through CIS and PSEO classes. They are consistently exceeding state and national test score averages. Course offerings include core subjects, as well as industrial arts, band, choir, physical education, and art classes. Grades K-4 students attend physical education class five times per week, and also attend music class four times per week.

Faith is integrated into the students’ school day, and all students in grades K-12 attend Mass on a weekly basis. All faiths are welcome at NUACS.

In addition to the faith-filled atmosphere at NUACS, students are also offered extracurricular opportunities at all age levels through athletics, clubs, and enrichment programs.
