What you will be responsible for: Manages and coordinates Winding’s information systems through leadership, strategic planning, and technical expertise. This includes, but is not limited to, providing professional technical assistance to other departments, coordination of purchases, installation and maintenance of software and hardware, network administration, managing contractors and vendors, troubleshooting and repair of system problems, cyber security, planning and training. Duties and Responsibilities: Developing, designing, and implementing network/systems roadmap, architecture, standards, and governance Analyze business requirements to develop technical network/systems solutions and their framework Administration, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems including server virtualization, switches, firewalls, communication devices, computers, printers, and other information systems Develop and document processes/tools/technology Evaluate needs and recommend purchases of network and systems solutions Solve a wide range of complex problems. Act as subject matter expert and point of escalation Assist the Information Security Team in resolving vulnerabilities found, through policies, changes, or standard upgrades Oversee the maintenance of the entire network and systems, including patches, vulnerabilities and life cycling old hardware Design and develop implantation plans for new technologies/best practices/frameworks. These must be scalable, reliable, secure and cost effective Monitor and respond to performance of information systems. Identify root cause and implement corrections to enhance performance Requirements Education: · Bachelor degree from an accredited 4-year college or university · OR, 2-year associate degree with appropriate experience Experience: · 2-5 years of enterprise systems administration or equivalent experience Knowledge/Skills: · Microsoft system administration (Windows server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID) · Server and network virtualization · Network administration including firewalls, switches, routers, SD-WAN · Current knowledge of cybersecurity best practices · Database administration, Microsoft SQL Server
