SUMMARY:Crazy Days
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Crazy Days in New Ulm! Shopping has been slow the past few months\, and our retailers are sitting on a lot of stock that they need to MOVE OUT to make room for new shipments! Get in on the deals and\, more importantly\, support our local retailers who need your help this year more than ever! That's why our theme this year is SHOP LOCAL LIKE CRAZY! \n\n\n\nCrazy Days will be held July 22-26. Note that these dates are expanded (Wed-Sun)\, than our usual weekend event. The reason: spread out the dates of the event in order to spread out the shoppers and avoid crowds so we can all practice safe social distancing. Wednesday and Thursday are for higher-risk shoppers. Friday and Saturday will have more organized activities and events. \n\n\n\nWe're excited to announce a new event this year: Marktstrasse Artisan Fair! This portion of Crazy Days is being organized by Maker Fair Minnesota\, and we're beyond thrilled with this new collaboration! Maker Fair has a higher standard when choosing who they allow to be vendors at their events. They make sure there is a variety of products available from sellers (no overabundance of one category) and every vendor ONLY sells handcrafted items - no third-party goods! Marktstrasse will take place downtown on Saturday\, July 25th from 10am-3pm. Marktstrasse (Market Street) is so named after a Crazy Days staple from years ago. Vendors will be given extra space and the booths will be positioned safe distances apart\; hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the downtown\; every booth will have its own hand-sanitizer and vendors will be wearing masks. Masks are encouraged for shoppers as well! Contact Maker Fair Minnesota for a vendor registration form: 507-340-1721\, 507-340-1720\, or makerfairmn@gmail.\n\n \n\nWe have more details about what's happening at New Ulm Crazy Days! \n\n \n\n\n\nMinnesota Street will be closed Friday and Saturday for Crazy Days activities!
