Turner Talks- Voter 101 with Melanie Hazelip

This event is FREE and open to the public and all are welcome to attend! Turner Talks provides educational, relevant and enlightening information to our audiences on a variety of topics. Social Hour begins at 5pm and the presenter begins at 5:30pm. This is held at Turner Hall in New Ulm.

Melanie Hazelip is the Voter Outreach Director for the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. She has done voter and civic engagement work since 2016. In her work, she tries to make voting accessible to all eligible Minnesotans. In her voter 101 presentation, Melanie will discuss Minnesota voting and election procedures, voter law changes made over the last few years, and steps that ensure safe, secure and fair elections. 

This event is co-sponsored by The League of Women Voters of New Ulm and the New Ulm Public Library. There will be snacks and beverages provided.
