The Milford Monument: A Lasting Memorial in Honor of Those Lost
This program is sponsored by the Junior Pioneers of New Ulm & Vicinity.
Bring your own chair! Many drive by this historical site but are unaware of its significance. This monument is a lasting remembrance of what the Milford Pioneers endured. Lisa was born and raised less than a mile from this site and has a strong interest in local history. She has served on the Brown County Historical Society and Junior Pioneer boards. Come and listen about the people who had settled in this area, what happened on August 18, 1862, in Milford, and how the Monument came to be.
