Summer Reading 2021
This year’s summer reading program, Tails and Tales” begins on Monday, June 14, 2021 and runs through Monday, August 16, 2021. We will be working on a community check-out count again this year hoping to reach the goal of 30,000 items checked-out of the library in just 10 weeks. Prize drawings will be held at the end of the summer for those who complete a Bingo Sheet, the Downtown Scavenger Hunt, or the Online Book Review, or all three! Craft and STEAM kits will be available every other week starting on June 14, 2021. Teens can fill-out a Bingo Sheet, or participate in a citywide Q-R code scavenger hunt to be entered into drawings. Teen craft kits will be available every two weeks throughout the summer starting on June 14, 2021. You’ll never guess who our mascot is this year and I’m not telling! You will have to stop by the library to find out. He will help us keep track of our checkout count each week. We will round out the season with the last Concert in the Park for the summer on August 30 at 7:00 p.m. featuring the Teddy Bear Band. Follow the library on Facebook or pick-up a monthly calendar for the library’s programming.
