Raising Resilient Children Presented by Dr. Jules Nolan
As parents, we want to make certain that our kids have all of the tools they need to become strong, resilient adults. However, some common parenting strategies can accidentally hinder our children’s critical skills development. This session will focus on parenting strategies that build student resilience from a biological and behavioral perspective. Parents will better understand their children through the lens of brain development and emotional intelligence. You will leave with concrete strategies to build your own resilience and that of your children. All K-12 parents along with all community members are invited to join us for this informative discussion. Please share this announcement with family, friends and colleagues who may be interested. About Dr. Nolan Dr. Nolan is the owner of Phoenix School Counseling while also serving as the president-elect of the Minnesota School Psychology Association and adjunct Faculty Minnesota State University, Departments of Psychology and Special Education.
