ProMusica Minnesota: Lunar New Year: ‘East Meets West’

Celebrate Asian New Year in a stunning concert featuring a blend of Western and Eastern instruments and music. Gao Hong, pipa, and Soojin Lee, gayageum, bring their artistic prowess to join spouses Christine (oboe) and Sangyoon (clarinet) Kim, and Artistic Director Bethel Balge to create a magical afternoon of Bach and Destenay, alongside original and traditional works for the pipa and gayageum. The grand finale is a special commission by Gao Hong combining East & West in a festival concerto!
