Community and Seniors Together (CAST) and New Ulm Public Library invite all to listen to Bernice Ende present her book, “Lady Long Rider: Alone Across North American on Horseback,” at the New Ulm Community Center (600 N German) at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26. A world-class long rider who rose to prominence after her first long ride at the age of 50, Ende’s memoirs recount many of the trials, tribulations, and adventures she experienced while traversing America by horseback. Accompanied by her horses (she now rides Norwegian Fjords) and an exceptional dog named Claire, Ende has logged almost 30,000 miles in the saddle, crisscrossing North America and beyond. Books will be available for sale and signing. Call 507-359-8331 for more information on this free public program.
