The CAST Senior Center and CASTLE Lifelong Learning are presenting a classic, but often overlooked, Holiday movie for you to discover and enjoy. Haven’t seen it? Now is your chance! Hosted by Clay Schuldt of the New Ulm Film Society, we will be screening the movie in its entirety with discussion before and after. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend. Monday, December 5 at 1pm: Holiday Affair (1949) Overview: Just before Christmas, department store clerk Steve Mason meets big spending customer Connie Ennis, really a commercial spy. He unmasks her but lets her go, which gets him fired. They end up on a date, which doesn't sit well with Connie's steady suitor, Carl, but delights her son Timmy, who doesn't want Carl for a step-dad. Standard (if sweet) romantic complications follow.
