Join us for a virtual discussion on the documentary film Decoding the Weather Machine featuring special guest Mike Griesinger, Lead Forecaster for the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities. The discussion will be held on Google Meet on Thursday, February 24, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The film is just under 2 hours in length and is available for viewing at: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/video/decoding-the-weather-machine/ Please watch the documentary prior to the discussion. Produced by the NOVA series on PBS, the film explores how scientists gather data on weather, how they explore and evaluate broader climate patterns, and what those patterns are showing us now.
