The Director Workshop is a Saturday of study into the art and craft of directing plays and musicals for Community Theaters. Current directors, stage managers, assistant directors, and anyone who has ever wanted to direct a community theater production are welcomed to join the workshop to hone and improve their skills. The workshop is part lecture and mostly demonstration/activity. All participants will serve as actors, directors, technicians, and stage managers. Participants will have a chance to work on their skills at the workshop. Paul Warshauer will host the directors workshop and has produced, directed, written, created, and starred in over 500 productions from coast to coast. Mr. Warshauer is a graduate from California State University, Northridge, CA with a degree in theater and film.Please bring a notebook with pencils, markers, and pens. All ages from tweens on up welcome. Please bring snacks, water, and something for a working lunch break.
