Supreme Court packing, impeachment, the emoluments clause, separation of church and state, freedom of speech, states’ rights, pleading the 5th, the Electoral College, and more are phrases that have been debated frequently in our current and recent national politics. What is the basis for these phrases? What do they mean? The root of all of these issues lies in the foundation of national government established in the Constitution. Join the New Ulm Public Library for a seminar series in 5 parts as we explore the origins and content of the United States Constitution. Each seminar will last about 1 hour and will be held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM with a break the week of Veterans’ Day. The first seminar will be on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the library’s meeting room. We hope to see you there!
