But handbook updates usually fall to the bottom of our to-do list. In this session, we’ll examine the “must have” policies and how to make them relevant and compliant with the latest laws. Bring your policies, highlighters, and notepads! Objectives: Identify the policies most important to be effective and compliant. Draft changes to policies to be more effective and relevant to employees. Understand the dynamics at play in the creation of an employee handbook, including business objectives and legal concerns.
