Book History Seminar With Catherine Kober
Join local artist Catherine Kober as she walks participants through The Book of Kells, a 7th century Celtic illustrated manuscript of the Gospels and The Bible of Vasikilorova, a 17th century Russian woodcut print manuscript in the lubok style. Participants will explore the iconography of these two manuscripts from East and West.
