Come to New Ulm’s Biggest Festival of the Summer! Bavarian Blast, now in its 14th year, takes place July 18-21, 2019. A German & American Music Festival, it features all sorts of music on multiple stages, including German-style bands, old-time, rock and country music. Nationally-known musicians as well as local favorites take the stages all weekend long! Camping on-site. Kid’s activities (free admission for 16 and under Fri-Sun)! Free on-site parking. A few event highlights include the sauerkraut-eating contest, stein-holding competition, barrel rolling, dog races, a 5K/10K, Sunday morning Polka Service, Bavarian Blast Parade, souvenir and vendor sales, and more!
