The New Ulm New Ulm Sleepy Eye Youth Hockey Association is hosting its final Try Hockey For Free event on Saturday 11/5 from 10 am to Noon. This event is for children ages 4-9. No experience required! Any child from the following school districts are welcome to participate: New Ulm\, Sleepy Eye\, Nicollet\, Madelia\, & GFW. It is a great opportunity for kids to try the sport of hockey and see if they like it. Lots of smiles will be had by all! Our association provides all gear necessary to participate in the event including skates\, shin guards\, breezers\, elbow pads\, shoulder pads\, a helmet\, and a stick. There will be certified coaches from our association\, New Ulm Steel players\, & high school players on the ice to help the kids.
