SUMMARY:Tiger Talk: Susan’s Trip to India - CAST Educational Program
DESCRIPTION:Join us as Susan Loose shares her amazing photographs and adventures from her trip to India\, as she recounts her Tiger Photography Safari with Steve Winter & Sharon Guynup. Steve and Sharon are expert naturalists who have worked with tigers through National Geographic. Susan and her group spent 6 days photographing the elusive royal Bengal tigers in two of India's Tiger Reserves- Kahna & Bandhavgarh. Beginning each day with looking to see the giant paw prints on the road and fresh scrapes on the trees\, hearing the call of the barking deer and monkey calls... then\, there was a deafening silence! Susan says\, "My heart would race with a mixture of excitement and of nervousness\, and our guide would say\, '"Look there A tiger is coming!" This program is free and everyone is welcome to attend. No pre-registration needed. Hosted by the CAST Senior Center\, CAST Educational Programs were developed to reach a wide audience of senior citizens\, providing a variety of interesting subjects via in-person presentations and experiences. Scheduled year-round\, we host programs at the CAST Senior Center\, but also travel to area libraries\, museums\, places of interest\, and other Senior/Community Centers in our area to introduce Seniors to the many program opportunities that are available. Our programs are open to the public and there are no membership dues. Unless noted\, the programs are provided free and no preregistration is required. Carpooling is available for out-of-town trips. Check out our program schedule every month and join us for our next event. We look forward to seeing you!
