DESCRIPTION:2026 marks The Chamber's 44th Oktoberfest Celebration - taking place Downtown New Ulm on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026. Click here for more details: www.newulm.com/downtownoktoberfest.\n\n\n\nCome downtown on Friday! A Festival Map will be available closer to the date!\n\n\n\nA mobile greenspace is coming to New Ulm! Imagine an entire downtown block with green turf\, picnic tables\, live music\, bean bags and more. We plan to pilot this turf the first weekend of Oktoberfest! The grass will be put down Friday morning on October 2nd\, on Minnesota Street from 1st North to Center Street\, and stay there until Sunday morning. We invite you to come down after 1pm on Friday and enjoy this space! Bring the kids! Bring your dog (though please clean up after)! Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets\, if you wish! Listen to live music\, enjoy a beverage\, snack or meal\, and connect with friends\, neighbors\, and visitors!\n\n\n\nFood Vendors\nMore information to come!\n\nAlcoholic beverages purchased at local bars and restaurants in the event space can be brought out into the street (no glass and must stay within the closed street area). Grab lunch or dinner or ice cream at a nearby business and enjoy it on the grass. \n\n\n\n\n\nOktoberfest takes place over 2 weekends at 4 main locations\, with festivities happening all over town!
