During Crazy Days\, the streets of Downtown New Ulm will come alive with a vibrant atmosphere as businesses have sidewalk sales and open their doors to offer exclusive discounts and promotions. \nMinnesota Street will be closed \;Saturday for Crazy Days activities! Downtown shops are encouraged to have sidewalk sales\, but remember that retailers ALL OVER town will have sales and discounts\, Friday through Sunday. Check with your favorite store to see what they are planning!

Saturday\, July 15th is the famous Ping Pong Ball Drop @ 9:00 a.m.! \; Ping Pong Balls (with labeled discounts + chance to win Chamber $) will be dropped from the roof of Inspire Wedding + Event Center - 40 \;ping pong balls will have $5 Chamber Dollar\, and 2 lucky winners will grab a ping pong ball worth $50 Chamber Dollars!! \; More info about the Ping Pong Ball Drop is here.

\nEnjoy the Marktstrasse - local handcrafted vendors will be setting up on Minnesota Street from 9am - 2pm on Saturday. \; This portion of New Ulm Crazy Days is organized by Maker Fair Minnesota\, and we'\;re beyond thrilled with this collaboration! Maker Fair has a higher standard when choosing who they allow to be vendors at their events. They make sure there is a variety of products available from sellers (no overabundance of one category) and every vendor ONLY sells handcrafted items - no third-party goods! Marktstrasse will take place downtown on Saturday\, July 23rd from 9am-2pm. Marktstrasse (Market Street) is so named after a Crazy Days staple from years ago.
