DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to Lunch and a Bite of History. Bev and Bob Heise will give a lecture on The Heisey Glass Company. The presentation will be held in the BCHS Annex meeting room at 12 p.m. Following the lecture guests will view an exhibit of Heisey Glass in the main museum. The exhibit pieces are from the Heise's personal collection. Bev and Bob have collected Heisey glassware for over 35 years after Bev heard about Heisey stemware at a store while looking for an anniversary gift. They have collected 2500 pieces in a wide range of patterns and every color produced by the Heisey Company. Bev and Bob belong to three Heisey Collectors clubs\, the Northwoods Heisey Collectors Club\, the Great Plains Heisey Collectors\, and the Heisey Collectors of America.
