Tom’s experience includes tax and accounting services for individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and estate tax returns, as well as certified audits, reviews, and compilations (grain elevators, government, and banks). He is also experienced in business development consulting, providing project development services to industries including hospitality, agriculture, manufacturing, waste to energy, and renewable energy. He has led the development of large-scale renewable fuels projects worldwide, including ethanol, algae, biomass, biodiesel, and wind projects, coordinating the entire lifecycle of biofuels and renewable energy start-up projects from conceptualization to construction.

Tom’s expertise includes conducting feasibility studies, preparing business plans, organizing equity, and structuring and negotiating debt with public and private financing organizations, as well as managing projects.

Sam specializes in audit and review services for cooperatives and also provides income tax preparation services for individuals and cooperatives. Sam received his Bachelor Degree in Professional Accountancy from Augustana College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives.

Outside the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.

Jake joined the firm in 2005 and currently focuses on cooperatives and other ag-related entities. He earned his degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato and his CPA license from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives.

Outside of work Jake likes to spend time in the outdoors golfing, hunting, coaching hockey and spending time with his family.
