The City of New Ulm has temporary summer part-time job openings for Skilled Laborers who will be responsible for light maintenance and custodial duties in the airport (1), electric (3), park & rec (3), street (1) or gas (1) departments. Tasks may include: mowing, weed spraying, trimming, grounds crew, landscaping, painting, cleaning, construction work, street patching, seal coating, reconstruction, street painting, washing vehicles, operating various power tools, assembling conduits, driving, gps locating, and other duties as required. . The position will last for approximately 3-5 months (May/June - August/September), up to 40 hours per week, and work hours will vary from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. weekdays and occasional weekends for the Park & Recreation department.
