Licensed Customer Service Representative
The Denny Waloch Agency has a career opportunity at its office in New Ulm. The Licensed Customer Service Representative conducts prospecting, generates new business through leads and referrals, provides quotes, cross-sells existing customers with other Horace Mann products and most importantly, builds relationships with current and new customers. Individual must have excellent phone skills and outstanding customer service skills to handle a high volume of phone activity. The ideal candidate must be motivated, highly organized and a self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment.
-Minimum of one year experience working in an insurance office is required.
-Minimum of one year customer service experience.
-A Property and Casualty license is preferred or can obtain within six months of hire date.
-Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
-Proficiency with computer skills (Word, Excel, e mail) and Internet navigation.
-Attention to detail.
-Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal/external contacts and customers as ability to be a team player.
Examples of Duties
-Provides customer service to assigned policyholders.
-Assists customers with problems, complaints and other issues.
-Notifies agent/owner of problems occurring from support area and recommend solutions.
-Work retention list for assigned policyholders including annual reviews, post renewal lists and pre renewal lists.
-Provide routine customer service (all lines of business) including CPR, ordering ID cards, proof of insurance, billing inquiry and working with underwriting.
-Process all P&C endorsements, following proper procedures outlined by agent/owner.
-Offers cross-sell P&C products at every opportunity.
-Takes claim reports.
-Works on follow ups to claim reports.
-Takes and receives payments accurately.
-Calls customers prior to cancel date.
-Always asks for referrals and thanks customers for their business.
