     We offer an early learning center for pre-school and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities, and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory, and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational, and work-ready courses. We have many opportunities for Hine arts and athletics for all students. A new Career Technical Education (CTE) Center will open in the fall of 2021, providing students opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers, and cabinetry.



 Position Available:
Middle School Dance Club Instructor

Job Description/Duties:         
New Ulm Middle School is seeking a 5th - 8th grade dance club instructor. This person would be responsible for leading dance club Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting after winter break, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. (or an agreed-upon timeline). This is a position paid through Community Education at the rate of $20/hour. 
 
Dance Club seeks to get middle school-aged students interested in Dance, learning the basics of what it means to be in dance class, and practicing a routine to perform for the student body sometime in the spring. This club seeks to support the high school dance team in garnering interest with students who want to be in Dance in high school!
           
Preferred Qualities:               
Previous high school/middle school coaching experience in Dance is preferred.
                                                           
Salary:                                    
$20.00/hour; This position is paid through Community Education
