Learning and Development Coordinator

Don't wait, apply today! The Learning and Development Coordinator has primary responsibility for assessing and identifying personal and organizational training gaps. Following identification, participate in strategy discussions and development of performance improvement programs to bridge those gaps. Using internal and external sources, develop and/or source training materials to ensure employees receive an engaging training experience. What does the Learning and Development Coordinator do for RITALKA? They: Have the ability to assess current state and recommend training that is tailored for that specific department, level, location, etc... Translate developmental requirements into learning objectives that will enable employees to build upon current competencies and improve performance and behaviors for current and future positions. Develop training materials and programs that result in an engaging learning experience. This includes, but is not limited to videos, presentations, handouts, and quizzes. Source, cultivate, and manage training and source providers (internal and external) to ensure timely training and feedback is provided in regards to administration of training and trainee performance. Maintain catalog of current and past trainings and ensure materials remain up-to-date and in sufficient supply. Work with sources (internal and external) to develop, enhance, edit, reformat, and validate training materials, ensuring it meets the needs of the company and applicable legal requirements. Deliver and organize routine and ad hoc training as needed and update employee records to reflect attendance. Communicate upcoming expirations to ensure employees are in adherence with training requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS: Excellent interpersonal abilities. Able to maintain effective working relationships with diverse population. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to convey a positive and professional image Must be self-starting individual, comfortable performing multifaceted projects Resourceful, well organized, and detail-oriented Strong analytical and reasoning abilities Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship Bilingual English/Spanish speaker preferred High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) OR Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable. Many tasks include their own work and/or the review of work of others in the department.
